Tyrel Johnson was born the youngest of sixteen. Tyrel's large family was supported solely by his father’s artwork and the family-fueled bronze casting foundry he owned. Tyrel spent most of his free time there. At a young age, Tyrel was making serious attempts at sculpture. Naturally, he ended up working at the foundry. Tyrel is well trained in all aspects of the casting process as well as the point up and sculpting of monumental sculpture. This upbringing gave him priceless experience in the arts, and granted Tyrel audience with many artists. In combining his passion for sculpting, woodworking, and people, he brings his unique voice to the viewer. Through a persistent application of talent and a constant acquisition of new skills; Tyrel is genuinely excited to see where his lifelong passion for sculpture will lead.
